2024 Art Competition

PRIZES: Blick Art Materials is providing prizes for the winners of our art competition.

BLICK Art Materials is one of the largest providers of art supplies in the United States, offering over 90,000 items online, in their catalog, and at retail locations. With over 60 stores across the U.S. and the District of Columbia, BLICK is dedicated to serving artists of all kinds. Established in 1911, BLICK remains family-owned and is now in its third generation of ownership. The company employs nearly 2,000 team members and operates from its central office in Galesburg, IL, where it also opened its first retail store in 1974. Under the leadership of CEO Bob Buchsbaum since 1996, BLICK has continued to grow, including the acquisition of Utrecht Art Supplies in 2013, adding 40 retail stores and a Brooklyn-based paint manufacturing facility to its operations. With a deep commitment to artists and their communities, BLICK Art Materials is proud to support the 2024 Speech Recovery Pathways Art Competition.
 

WHAT: Any 2-dimensional artwork (appropriate for a public audience) that can be submitted digitally will be considered in this year’s art competition

WHEN: Must be submitted with donation below by midnight 09/16/2024 

COST: $25 entry fee for first artwork, $15 for each additional artwork entered. 

  • 1 artwork = $25 entry fee
  • 2 artworks = $40 entry fee,
  • 3 artworks = $55 entry fee. Limit 3 entries per artist.
 

WHO: There are two categories: SURVIVORS and SUPPORTERS, which means anyone 18 years or older is eligible.

WHERE: Finalists will be showcased on SRP’s website and social media for online vote, September 23-27, 2024. The two winners (one per category) will have artworks displayed on SRP’s website, social media, and on swag for sale in SRP’s Artist Shop.

You also agree to allow Speech Recovery Pathways to use your artwork on swag offered for sale via the Artist Shop linked above. Funds raised through entry fees, sponsorships, and swag sales will directly support SRP’s mission to offer vital programs such as aphasia support groups, memory and problem-solving groups, Parkinson’s groups, caregiver support groups, partner training for couples, and yoga and fitness groups.
